World of Warcraft Cataclysm - New Features
WoW Cataclysm, the new series of the World of Warcraft Game has many great improvements and new features compared to the previous two games, The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich.
In WoW Cataclysm players are taken back to the Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms continents as they have been devastated by the Deathwing's rage, therefore creating and bringing forth a new and exciting adventure.
The new features in World of Warcraft Cataclysm enhance the game play and overall experience making the game in our opinion the most exciting and lively to date.
WoW Cataclysm new promised features include…..
- New playable races, Goblins and Worgen (we will cover these individually in full later)
- The players will have more freedom and will be able to choose different class combinations and race for there individual characters.
- A heroic mode has been added for players in level 85 for the dungeons Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep
- New skills, the addition of Archaeology as a secondary skill has already been announced
- Prime, a new type of glyph
- Usage of flying mounts will be enabled with zones in Azeroth.
- New raids and dungeons and of course 1000s of new quests, making the game more challenging
- New towns, making the game more expansive with new adventure locations
- Changes to other cities in the game including updated zones and new look of the continents Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.
- The 80 cap level can then be raised another 5 levels.
- The stats system has undergone reconstruction and changes meaning some stats will be removed and integrated to the new ones.
- New stats (e.g. Mastery) which will then enable some ability enhancement according to the talent specification and class of the player.
- New DirectX11 support
- Guild advancement enhancement system making levelling and rewards possible. Guild currency and talents will be removed though to make way for this new feature.
- The bonuses for guild advancement are now based on the level of the guild and automatically unlocked.
These are just a few of the new excellent features that will be available in Wow Cataclysm expansion. We are excited about these as I’m sure most other WoW enthusiasts are about this new and epic expansion. Although we have no exact date as to the release of the game the CEO of Blizzard entertainment stated that the release is due sometime this year as we are approaching autumn I have a feeling its going to be real soon…..
